We are proud to announce that we have won the Coastal Radio Not for Profit Award for the second year running!
The Coastal Local Business Awards 2025 were held on Thursday 22nd May in the wonderful Blackpool Tower Ballroom. The Local Business Awards (LBAs) are a chance to reflect on the hard work from businesses across the whole of Blackpool, Wyre & the Fylde Coast.
Some of our core team attended the event last night with around 900 others from across the Fylde Coast. Out of 5000 nominations we were shortlisted with 5 other amazing organisations.
We were amazed to have been named as the winners of this award for the second year running. – Matt Hornby, Lead Volunteer for Blackpool Scouts said, “This award is is in complete recognition for each and every volunteer in our organisation, we are really proud to be the largest volunteer led youth organisation in Blackpool and prepare over 800 young people with skills for life each week.
We’ve been around for over 100 years but we are just getting started. It’s great to be at events like this to make more people aware of who we are and the great work we do”.
