Blackpool Scouts is a thriving District in West Lancashire County Scouts.

We have 20 groups and cover almost all of Blackpool and we are one of 8 Districts who make up the County of West Lancashire Scouts. We cater for young people aged 4 upwards, view our sections here. Without our Groups we wouldn’t have a District and we are here to support, provide training, put on events and much more.

We truly believe that Scouting is needed more in today’s society than ever before. We believe we help to achieve greater social cohesion, happy resilient citizens, more civic participation and improved social mobility.

What do Scouts do?

Scouts is where young people make new friends, have amazing adventures, and learn new skills.

Every week we give almost 1000 4-25 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your young person’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.

Our people

Meet our District team who, on a daily basis, keep us going. They range from on the ground hands on volunteers to those who work behind the scenes. From tapping away at spreadsheets to keeping this website running!
