Blackpool Pride 2024

Join Blackpool Scouts as we parade with Pride, together as Scouts. We will be walking in the parade on Saturday 8th June. Please see details below. Wear your neckers and something colourful! Flags, glitter and face paint encouraged. If you are interested in taking part please complete the form below.
Parade Information
When: Saturday 8th June 2024
When: Meet at 10am, no later than 10:20am
Meeting Point: Between the Sandcastle Waterpark and South Pier
The Parade route is approximately 3km, and we will finish at Princess Parade (lower promenade behind the Metropole) where the main Pride area is (you will need a wristband to enter).
Recruitment Stall
We are also running a recruitment stall in the Youth Pride area and we need some volunteers to help run the stall and be there for a few hours. If you can help with the below tasks please let us know.
- Transporting the Gazebo and table to the location (Princess Parade).
- Help run the stall and talk to members of the public, giving out flyers etc.
- Setting up the stall and packing it down afterwards.
- Do you have any gazebo weights we could use?
