Mountain Biking Trip

What: Beginner to intermediate level mountain bike trip in Scotland.
When: 3rd till 5th November 2023.
Where: Gatehouse of Fleet. Riding 2 of the 7 Staines mountain bike parks, Kirroghtree and Dalbeatie.
Who: This trip is open to Explorers and Network or Adult Volunteers in West Lancs County.
How much: The trip will cost £60. This includes 2 nights accommodation, Saturday evening meal and transport to Scotland with a bike. (this does not include breakfast or lunches for either day or bike hire if that is required.)
This trip is a brilliant opportunity for people to learn and develop mountain biking skills in a safe but challenging environment. The trip is run by nationally qualified mountain bike instructors. We will be staying in Gatehouse of Fleet scout hut and will ride at Kirroghtree for the full day on the Saturday. We will then ride at Dalbeatie on the way home from Scotland on the Sunday. If there is anyone who doesn’t own a mountain bike don’t worry we can hire from both of our riding destinations. Kirroghtree will cost £35 to hire and Dalbeatie will cost £19.50. Places are limited to 14 participants so bookings will be done on a first come first served basis.
