Digital Skills Workshop

Brush up your digital skills! Digital skills help us to find, create and share information with others. In an increasingly online world, they’ve become more important than ever.

We know not everyone at Scouts is confident with technology, which is why we’re running this workshop with all the useful skills to help you with your volunteering. Below is a list of topics we will cover. Please make sure you sign up here.

Saturday 2nd March, starting at 10am-4pm, Upstairs Hall, 1st Bispham, Devonshire Road, FY2 0JT.

What will we cover?

• The Basics, these are some of the basic skills you will need, for example, accessing Microsoft 365, sending emails, creating calendar invites, storing documents and more.
• Digital Administration, these skills will help you programme plan online, manage your paperwork and ensure we are complying with data protection regulations.
• Online Scout Manager, we will be giving an overview of OSM and how to use it.
• Brand & Promotion, helping you get the skills to shout about Scouting and where to get help.
• Any questions or specific help you might have or need.

This will be a jam-packed day so please make sure you bring your own packed lunch. There will be light refreshments too.
