Community Hero Awards

2020 was a difficult year for us all but some of our members went that extra mile to help, finding innovative and inspiring ways to support good causes and their local communities. Whilst face to face Scouting has been very limited, the values that underpin our organisation remain as strong as ever during these difficult times.

On Sunday 21st February at 4pm, the County will be hosting an online ‘Awards Evening’ to recognise individuals who have fulfilled the criteria above. In addition, during this evening, we will also be taking the opportunity to thank all adult members of the organisation for continuing to support Scouting in the last year.

Community Heroes: We are asking you to inform all your leaders and volunteers so they can nominate individuals for an award.

The nominations will be reviewed by an Awards panel lead by Craig, Carl and Gail. Please note that the West Lancs media team may contact those chosen to receive an award for further information or for further media such as photos or a short VT interview. Please note nominations close on the 5th February

Please help us recognise the great work of our Young People, leaders and volunteers.
